What are MESA competitions?
MESA competitions are a chance for students to show off their engineering skills in a regional competition against other middle schools in the area. Students spend the day at a CSU college campus, and compete in various competitions. The students can choose from 4 projects: Popsicle Stick Bridges, Gliders, MESA machine, and Cement Discs. The students will work on one of the following projects during MESA club from October-March. They may create several projects. It is important that if students participate in the club, they at least attempt to come to MESA day.
What happens after the MESA competition?
After the MESA competition (scheduled in March), we continue to complete engaging math and science experiments.
